Authentication Factor

• 팩터는 인증의 유형을 의미

유형	설명	예시
Factor #1 : Something you know(지식기반)	내가 알고 있는 것으로 인증	비밀번호, PIN
Factor #2 : Something you have(소유기반)	내가 물리적으로 소유하고 있는 것으로 인증	OTP, 스마트 카드
Factor #3 : Something you are(존재기반)	내 고유한 속성으로 인증(생체 인증)	지문 인식, 홍채 인식
Factor #4 : Somewhere you are(위치기반)	나의 위치로 인증	IP Address
Factor #5 : Something you do(행위기반)	내 행동으로 인증	Picture Password (예 : 점과 점 사이를 연결)

 

Multi Step Authentication, Multi Factor Authentication(MFA)

구분	설명	예시
Multi Step Authenticaton	동일한 팩터로 연이어 인증하는 것	비밀번호(지식기반) 입력 후 PIN(지식기반) 입력
Multi Factor Authentication(MFA)	서로 다른 종류의 Factor를 조합하여 인증하는 것	ATM에 현금카드(소유기반) 넣고 비밀번호(지식기반) 입력
